Draft 4
Artist Statement: This week I focused on creating pictures that not only go well together but to also standout separately. My main focus was to try and take a blurred image of a subject, preferably a person, and catch them in motion. It took a while to figure out the right shutter speed for the camera, but once I could get that down, it was all about object in the photo. I took photos of people walking, running or dancing, while I shook the camera side to side to create these photos. It is definitely hard to capture these people in motion but also making the object in the picture clear. I think this has been the most successful week of photos due to the fact that I now have a grip on what techniques I should use to take these photos.
I really like how each photo is different and how blurred they are. I like how as your posts have progressed you have moved from cars to people. These look really cool and I think you did a great job!
ReplyDeleteI have no suggestions. Great work. I like the feeling of motion that the photos create.
ReplyDeleteThese are nice Sophie. Your goal of blurring the image of a subject and catch them in motion was clearly shown within your draft. I really like the feet picture because it was your most prominent photo. Good job!
ReplyDeleteThese are really cool. I really like the blur. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteThe blur looks really cool. Good work
ReplyDeleteThese are really good. I like the first one, it's very crisp and clear. I also enjoy the blur on the other images. I really like the third to last one, it looks like you had more than two subjects. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteI like these photos, but some are better than others, my suggestion is to use people wearing darker colors, because the people wearing lighter colors get washed out a little in the photo.
ReplyDeleteThis series is really strong! I think the editing is really stronger. I also like the variety of subjects used and the number of subjects in the images.
ReplyDeleteThese are really nice photos, and the blur effect create a sense of motion. I would suggest to take it a step further and begin to edit a couple of your photos in color. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteI like how these seem to be more blurred. Like you said, it makes them standout more
