Rule of thirds, Diagonals and Triangles
The next 5 photos follow the rule of third form, in each picture it's cut into three sections and the main focus is found in one small section.

I really liked your rule of thirds composition. I think you incorporated a lot of different kinds of photos that were easy to identify the rule of thirds. I also really liked how you used a lot of images with water throughout the different rules. Overall I think you did really well on this assignment.

ReplyDeleteThe fact that you placed all your pictures in black and white really works well for the photos you took. The picture of the Golden Gate Bridge is remarkable because of the soft lighting you applied and the complex diagonals you made seem so simple. The first image in the rule of thirds series is also very chic with the soft lighting. My only critique is I don't understand where the triangle is in the first image of the triangle series.
ReplyDeleteI like your railing, boats, and bridge diagonal and your person photo for rule of thirds, my only suggestion is that your first triangle photo is not super triangular.
ReplyDeleteI love all your pictures! I think you captured each them really well. I also like how you kept to the theme of black and white, it makes your picture look well put out and oragnized. I think that the third photo for your rule of thirds doesn't exactly show rule of thirds because there isn't a specific object to focus on. I also think that the first picture for your triangle is a little hard find, so you could work on emphasing it more but other than great work!

ReplyDeleteI really like how you captured a triangle in each photo, and how each triangle is represented differently. Even though it took me a while to find the triangle in the fourth photo, I think you did a great job capturing the triangle through a shadow. I think that the different angles within the triangles, in which you took the photos, really helped the triangles stand out from a viewer’s perspective. Great job!
