Leading Lines, Depth Staging and Repetition
Leading lines: Refers to a composition technique where the viewers eye is attracted to lines that lead directly to the subject in the image.
Depth Staging: Is an arrangement of objects on a set so that foreground, middle ground and background are each clearly defined.
Repetition: Repeating a shape throughout your photos
all of these photos portray the themes very well. i loved the way you did your leading line section because i think you followed rule to the tee as well as every section, therefore i don't have any suggestions on how to improve your photos. You did a great job!
ReplyDeleteAll of these photos area really pretty! All your photos dipect their composition. I think with the first couple of depth staging, the object could be a little farther away from eachother, but other that really nice job!
ReplyDeleteI really like all of your photos, but I think your 3rd depth-staging photo fits more into repetition than depth-staging. Overall, good job!
ReplyDeleteI like how you used people for repetition, your the first person I have seen do this and you are the sixth person I've reviewed! My only suggestion is that the third photo for depth staging isn't exactly depth staging, but the rest are.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you used leading lines to help show depth in your photos. I like how the leading lines in your photos make it seem like the lines go on forever, until there is a point where the lines meet. I like your third photo because the wires above the street seems as if they are multiple leading lines, while the main line down the middle really over powers the other side lines. Great job on all of your photos!
ReplyDeleteI really liked all of your photos! I think your strongest photos are your leading line ones. I particularly like your fourth one because the leading line isn't a direct line. My only suggestion would maybe find a more specific focus for some of your repetition photos because some of them could be seen as leading lines. Besides that, nice job!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful! You created a dramatic flare with the way you used the black and white filter. I think the third image of your depth staging series is more of a leading line. I really liked your image of the water because of the way you captured the glassy effect of the lake/river (?).
ReplyDeleteI really liked the images that you captured. I especially your leading line images. I love how you chose all different types of settings for the photos and how some of the the leading lines were natural. Good job.
