Best of Spring Series

Artist Statement: This week we worked on editing and touching up our last photos that we wanted to post. These are the best photos that I feel I edited well. I also made a few new ones to add to the collections. In each photos I would replace the main focus of the picture and use a new photo that has a different perspective in it. Creating this series was a fun way to experiment with new technique of editing photos together.

                                                               Final Draft

Artist Statement: This week I worked on taking photos of different scenarios then trying to combined them together to make it almost look like an optical illusion. I also wanted to work with color this week to see if it could change my perspective. This was the last week for editing news photos and next week I'll be closing the best out of the series.

Spring 2

Artist Statement: This week I chose to take photos of different people in a natural environment then I tired to to edit other photos of people into the original photo. I edit each photo in black and white so that they all cohesively go together. Editing one photo takes about 20 minutes because I spend a lot of time trying to photoshop each photo together. I have enjoyed making these photos this week and I will try to make a better batch next week.

Spring Series

Artist Statement: This week we started our spring series. I decided to create collages based on real life pictures. I took photos of my surrounding and then I also took portraits of a few of my classmates. I took their faces and or eyes and cropped it to fit a certain part of the photo. Then I meshed both photos together then edited them in black and white. This is just the first week of photos and I will be trying out new ways to edit my pictures every week.
