Artist Statement: This week was our last week to work on our pictures. Our project this week was to create multi-frame pictures that tell a story or can express a type of mood. What I did was take a two pictures that where previously shot and edit them in a similar way. Once they were edited I used a collage template to put them next to one another in hopes that it would help create a specific kind of mood. I wanted to edit them all the same so that they would all be cohesive with one another. Overall I think this was a great way to end the semester.

Final Draft
Artist Statement: This week is the last week in which we study under out individual photographers. I have learned a lot about macro photography and the techniques you use ignorer to achieve the perfect pictures. I don't think I have mastered Mike Moat's techniques but I think I have learned the basics that I know I could continue to grow as a macro photographer. This projects has taught me a lot about patients and how to play around with different cameras and lenses ignorer to take an up close photo of a plants, flowers or bugs. Overall, I have enjoyed this project and I can't wait to see what I learn next.

Draft 4
Artist Statement: This week I focus on taking photos of the insides of flowers or plants. I wanted to capture the texture and the color that lays on the inside of these plants. I didn't edit the photos in a drastic way, I enhanced the poser of each picture, but my main goals was to keep the natural color of each plant or flower. I think each week I take more photos, the more successful I am. I am still continuing to follow Mike Moat's techniques which has helped myself improve in my photography skills.

Draft 3
Draft 3
Artist Statement: This week I worked on taking photos of either flowers or plants up close. I was able to find a large enough spider that I could to capture up close. I used Mike Moats techniques of macro photography. I used a High Definition AF Telephoto Lens 55mm, to experiment different ways to capture the nature closer and more clearly. I also used a Wide Angled Lens to attempt to capture the same photos. I have been using this lens since draft one, but I wanted to experiment with a new lens to see different outcomes of my pictures. Over all I think this week was quite successful and I had a lot of great outcomes of my photos.

Fall Draft 2
Draft 2
Artist Statement: This week I worked on taking more photos inspired by the photographer Mike Moats. This week I was more successful with taking photos and finding more flowers and plants to photograph. I edited all photos in color. By doing that I enhanced the color to that the main object pops out of the picture. I think this concept of macro photography is getting a lot easier to understand and take photos. Over all I think this was a good batch of pictures.
