Final Series
Artist Statement: In the past four weeks I have spent my time taking photos that portray some of Joel Tjintjelaar ideas. Each week I took a new group of photos with the same approach which was, trying to take my photos at an angle that looks like an optical illusion which also contained repetition. This is the last set of photos from this series. I took the best eight photos from all of the other series and put them into one slide. I thought all of these photos are edited similarly, most have the optical illusion aspect and there is repetition in each.

Fall Series 4

Artist statement: This week I focused on my artist recipe and applied it to my pictures. I walked around San Francisco while I took pictures of architectural buildings with unique repetition patterns. I took photos at an upward angle hoping that it would come out as a perspective as if you could walk through the picture. I also started to incorporate pictures that are at an up angle and have other objects in the photos.

Artist statement: My goal was to take photos of different building that contained repetition and modern architecture. I edited my photos in black and white and cropped the pictures in a square form. I want someone to look at my photos and have to contemplate whether the photo was take from a down or up angle.
