Fall Series 1

Artist statement: My goal was to take photos of different building that contained repetition and modern architecture. I edited my photos in black and white and cropped the pictures in a square form. I want someone to look at my photos and have to contemplate whether the photo was take from a down or up angle. 

Portraits

In class we used Richard Avedon as our example photographer to help me capture these unique portraits. I asked three models if I was able to take their photo. My objective was to capture there emotion through their eyes. Be hind the camera I talked to each person about different events that are going on in the world and as I spoke to them I took a continues amount of picture of each person to try and capture their true emotion.
